About Us
OrthTeam is a group of established Orthopaedic surgeons from the Greater Manchester area, who have teamed up to provide a high quality of Orthopaedic care in Manchester.
Based out of the Alexandra Hospital, we aim to ensure that your injury or problem is dealt with expediently by a super-specialist in that area of the body. For example, if you have knee pain, one of our specialist Knee Surgeons will be contacted to see you. This is achieved by our own dedicated practice manager who will ensure that you see the most appropriate specialist for your particular problem quickly and efficiently.
All our Consultant Surgeons are Fellowship trained in their area of special interest and are all established NHS Consultants at Teaching Hospitals. We all believe in not only providing expert and skillful surgery, but also a professional level of patient care. All our surgeons are experts in minimally invasive and arthroscopic surgery and undertake research and education presenting regularly in the UK, Europe and the United States.
Whilst we treat many patients with common orthopaedic problems, our group has developed a special interest in treating elite sports injuries. As a group we look after over 30 professional sports teams and national sporting organisations.
Our vision is that the care the elite sports person receives should be available to you.
